GLEE

Previously on Glee women have been shown for their sexual side. On the episode “never been kissed” Puck tells Artie he was going to go do stuff with the girls after their double date. Also in the episode the girls sang, “Living on a prayer” but turned the song very sexual.

            Recently most of the women actors were posing for pictures in underwear and their bra. Lots of teens and even younger children watch Glee. When these pictures came out they were appalled. “Katie Couric, who noted that she and her teenage daughter count on Glee for responsible fun,” (The New York Times)

            Although Glee is manly wholesome this is the first photo shoot the women were being marketed to the adults. Glee is a show about finding yourself and to let outsiders not feel so distant. This shows teens and kids to be empathetic to the people around them and help them when they are down or even when they are happy.
